Join our skilled Estates team and build your future with us! We are recruiting a highly motivated, personable, cheerful and calm tradesperson for this exciting position, who is keen to play a vital role in maintaining a unique and diverse estate, spanning both modern and historic listed buildings.

Planned and reactive maintenance ensures the smooth running of our commercial and domestic settings, supporting upkeep and longevity across our special site.

As part of a true team, you must have the ability to work independently, self-motivating and using initiative, or as part of small team, as a strong team player – pitching in with a variety of tasks appropriate to your experience and capability. You will have the skills and confidence to complete general tasks, working with trades colleagues such as plumbers, or helping with painting and decorating.
If you:
  • Are an experienced tradesperson with a wealth of knowledge in the construction industry
  • Have strong carpentry/joinery and general building skills
  • Can produce work to an excellent standard using a range of hand powered tools
  • Have sound knowledge and understanding of construction related Health & Safety and Building
  • Regulations, with commitment to ensuring a safe environment for colleagues and our visitors
  • Can work at height and in confined spaces
  • Are punctual, reliable and efficient, with a thorough, organised approach to work
  • Are willing and robust to work outside all year round
  • Enjoy being kept busy and active, spending the day moving around site, working in several different capacities
  • Have integrity that aligns to our values and an empathy with the Catholic ethos of our site
  • Have a full UK driving licence
