Buckfast Abbey Millennium Fund

Buckfast Abbey Millennium Fund for Devon’s Hospices.
In Thanksgiving for the Thousandth Anniversary of Foundation

When a person wishes to show their thanks it is often the case that a gift is made one to another.
The Monastic Community wishes to thank God for all those who laboured to make Buckfast Abbey what it is now, a thousand years
after the granting of its foundation charter in 1018.
What gift can human beings give to God? Through Jesus Christ we know that what we do to those in need we do for him. Therefore the Millennium Fund is for those in need today - for those who receive the benefit of our Devon Hospices.
Everyone may share in our act of thanksgiving by contributing to this Millennium Fund. This gift to our Devon Hospices is our gift to God for the goodness He has shown to us.
