Bank Holiday Recital: Andrew Canning

Andrew Canning is a leading organ recitalist and was for many years Organist at Uppsala Cathedral, Sweden, home to another Ruffatti organ. His programme combines twentieth century British music with the minimalism of Philip Glass, the tango of Astor Piazzolla and the jazz of Billy Strayhorn in Canning’s own transcriptions.
