Duruflé: Requiem

On the day when the Church marks the commemoration of the faithful departed, the Abbey Choir is joined by the Southern Sinfonia for a performance of Duruflé’s Requiem. Duruflé himself gave the premiere of Poulenc’s Organ Concerto, which features in the first half alongside Requiem æternam (Pavane pour une infante défunte) by Maurice Ravel and Duruflé’s Quatre motets sur des thèmes grégoriens.
