Gardeners’ Retreat

Join us in the beautiful surroundings of Buckfast Abbey for a gentle few days of rest, spiritual input, wonderful gardens and tranquillity. Time to be refreshed in mind, body, and soul.

Summary of the Retreat

Starting after lunch on Monday and running through to late morning on Friday, our time together will be a chance to look at four gardens in the Bible where Fr Andrew and Fr Gregory will help us reflect on the spiritual element of gardening. Also included in the retreat are two full day excursions; one to the hidden gardens of Heligan and the Eden Project. There will also be the opportunity to attend some workshops run by the gardens department at Buckfast Abbey, as well as the chance to view their work in the beautiful gardens of the Abbey itself.

Our evenings will be free to enjoy a drink and a chat in the bar.  A fuller itinerary will be emailed a couple of weeks before the retreat.
