Grand-Orgue Recital: Jeremy Filsell

Jeremy Filsell’s musical eminence as a pianist and organist is attested by his having forged an illustrious career on both sides of the Atlantic. Currently Organist & Director of Music at Saint Thomas Church, Fifth Avenue, New York City, his reputation, particularly as an exponent of the organ compositions of Marcel Dupré, goes before him. In addition to featuring works by Leighton and Dupré, Jeremy will perform two seldom-heard pieces by the visionary American composer Calvin Hampton, Prayers & Alleluias and the Concerto for Solo Organ.
