Priests’ Retreat

The retreat will explore different aspects of human desire, good and bad; where desires come from; and how they relate to our personal, spiritual and ‘professional’ lives as diocesan priests.

• Session 1 (Monday) Introduction: What is Desire?
• Session 2 (Tuesday) Desire in Scripture 
• Session 3 (Tuesday) Desire in the tradition of the Church
• Session 4 (Wednesday) What are your desires?
• Session 5 (Wednesday) Good and bad desires 
• Session 6 (Thursday) Desire in the philosophical tradition
• Session 7 (Thursday) How do desires arise and fade?
• Session 8 (Friday) Conclusion and response to questions
