Whitbourn and Wolff

Collati perform contrasting contemporary works by James Whitbourn and Dom Sebastian Wolff. Whitbourn’s Requiem Son of God Mass, composed in 2000, is written for chorus, solo, soprano saxophone and organ. Fr Sebastian’s Missa brevis with organ accompaniment is a charming example of his unique style, which at times in this piece, has almost a French flavour.
