Join us for our next Grand-Orgue Recital on 16th July

Buckfast Abbey is delighted to be hosting some of the world’s finest organists, singers, and audiences at the Abbey this summer. On Saturday 16th July, the Abbey will welcome Titular Organist of Poitiers Cathedral (France) and professor at the Paris Conservatoire, Oliver Houette, for his virtuosic recital performance. We’re also looking forward to hosting Brent Singers on Saturday 2nd July for a popular programme of Baroque music with orchestra, including Vivaldi Gloria and Purcell Come, ye sons of art, away. Commencing at 7:30pm, tickets are available to purchase here. A two-course pre-concert meal will be available in the Abbey’s newly furbished Conference Centre at 6pm, ahead of the Brent Singers & Orchestra concert. You can see the menu here

A pre-concert meal, (menu here) will also be available before Truro Cathedral Choir's performance of Fauré Requiem on Saturday 23rd July at 7:30pm. For this performance, you can join the boy choristers and lay vicars of Truro Cathedral Choir for a splendid evening of choral music spanning Byrd to Chilcott, culminating in Fauré’s beautiful setting of the Requiem.
