Be part of this unique celebration of Bell ringing at Buckfast Abbey and throughout Devon. Ringing teams can apply to ring via their local tower, various slots available through the day.

Day includes: ringing demonstrations on 2 'mini rings', live video streaming from the ringing chamber and bell viewing gallery, education & craft activities, ringing exhibition, BBQ and a Service of celebration of bell ringing with the Bell Ringers Choir.

It is intended for the exhibition to be in place all week from Mon 6th August, this will include information of the history of ringing at Buckfast Abbey with never before seen archive photos and a wider look at ringing in Devon. Bell ringers will be on hand to talk about ringing in their local tower and how you can get involved.

'The Big Ring' The first ever attempt of simultaneous ringing at the towers of Holy Trinity Church, Buckfastleigh and Buckfast Abbey at 1.45pm.
