The Abbot and Monastic Community of Buckfast, welcome you to a traditional service of Readings, Carols and Christmas Music. Sung by the Choir of Buckfast Abbey and led by the Rt. Rev. David Charlesworth. This year our Carol Service is followed by a Christmas Fair with festive gifts, food and drink available.

Our Grange Restaurant and Shops will be open after the Carol Service until 7.00pm for you to enjoy a wonderful selection of Christmas gifts and food. A variety of produce from Monasteries and Convents around the world will be available in the Medieval Guesthall. Other highlights include:

Roasted chestnuts, home-made Christmas cake & Chirstmas pudding sampling

Christmas wreaths made by our own gardening team

2 sessions of Christmas songs sung by the Abbey Choir
