Festival of Sacred Art at Buckfast Abbey

31st Friday - Consists of 2 talks by Dr. Farey - "Scripture and Sacred Art" & "Sacred Art Western and Eastern traditions" and 2 tours of the art in the Abbey led by Abbot David and Fr. Thomas Regan.
Includes lunch at Saint Cuthbert's conference centre.

1st September Saturday - Sister Judith from the Vatican Media Project will give a talk on the Vatican Media Project.
Dr. Susan Kay-Williams, chief execultive of the Royal School of Needle Work, on the making of the Millennium Vestments.
Isabel Coulton, sculpting Buckfast's newest statue of the Madonna.
Dr. Caroline Farey will speak on "The power of the decorative arts in the Christian life"
Includes lunch.
