Brent Singers presents a sequence of American choral music to mark 250 years since the signing of the Declaration of Independence. Featuring sacred works by Eric Whitacre, Morten Lauridsen and Stephen Paulus, the concert opens with James Erb’s beautiful arrangement of Shenandoah. David Davies complements the programme with organ music, including Gerre Hancock’s variations on the hymn tune Ora Labora.
