Tailor Made Workshops

The Education Team can tailor a visit to suit your group with a range of activities to support the EYFS framework. These may include; storytelling, sensory and craft activities as well as encouraging them to experience the peace and tranquillity of the Abbey Church and grounds.

We are happy to welcome Preschool and Reception groups to the Abbey. Should you wish to visit the Abbey, please contact the Education Team on 01364 645517 or email education@buckfast.org.uk and we can organise a visit to suit your needs.

Brother Bear Tour

This is our famous cuddly interactive tour aimed at younger pupils.
A teacher-guided tour around Buckfast Abbey finding out about a monk’s life in the company of your own monk bear.
Discover how the monks choose their name, how they spend their day, what promises they make and how they live their lives.
Allow 1 hour
£3.00 per pupil (includes a cute monk bear each to take home!)
